Urban Decay new collection from Kristen Leanne is my new favorite. Not like most people, i almost fell in love with it immediately. Mostly it is because of the colors this pallete offers and the unique arrange of the eyeshadow. I know lots of people hate the design of the pallete, thinking it looks odd. But it doesnt bother me as much. I believe what makes it different makes it more valuable. There are so many new eyeshadow pallete coming out each day, but they all look similar.
How to wear bright eyeshadow? The pallete contains 11 vibrant colors. They are very creamy, almost thick. But bendable. Most of them have metallic sheen finish. The long givity of those colors are amazing. They can stay on your eye lids at least 8 hours without using eye primer. And of course they are highly pigmented.
yellow, blue , pink are my favorite colors. They make great combo. When using right, it creates modern look. I am all about creating wearable looks. When playing with bunch of bright colorful eyeshadows, the key is to keep it clean and simple.
Vertical gradient is great for creating this kind of look. It looks so much cleaner than horizontal one. It is easy to apply. And it is perfect for hooded eyes.
some people are afraid of using blue eyeshadow because it has a cool tone. But it is such a beautiful color. I use it right above my lashline, almost like a thick eyeliner. Then I use the light blue color on top of the blue. For transitional color, I choose the orange color since it has a warm tone. This way it helps balance out.
For my bottom lashline, i used gold to keep it simple and clean.
I didnt forget the pink. I used it as my blush and add some to my lips. Let me know what you think?
