Have you ever wondered why certain makeup styles look good on you, but some don't?  After years of applying makeup, you have mastered the basic makeup rules, how come your look is not elevated? We all know that makeup is about accentuating our best features and minimizing the areas that we not as confident about. What does it take to create your own signature look?

When it comes to makeup, less is often more. Having a focus with your makeup can instantly elevate your look. This article will help you find out your makeup focus and how to achieve it.

Luckily, I found this quiz from an Asian makeup forum. Based on your facial features, it helps you find out the correct makeup focus that suits you.

Lets do the quiz first:
1. Check out your middle third
Pick A if you have relatively long middle third, Pick B if you have short middle third
2. Check out your lips
Pick A if your lips are downward/thin, Pick B if you have voluptuous lips
3. Check out your facial bone structure
Pick A if your face shape is more angular, Pick B if your face is more round
4. Check out your visual weight
Pick A if you have high visual weight, pick B for low visual weight

Now that you have all your answers ready, lets get to the result:
1. Brows + Lips
This technique is suitable for people who are confident with their face shape. Bushy brows plus bold lip color create that modern classic look

2. Eyes + Lips
The eyeshadow color and lip color should share same undertone, creating harmony. However, this technique does require you to be confident in your whole facial features and structure. kpop singers like to use this technique to create glamorous look.

3. Brows + Eyes
If you have thin lips or square round face, this is your style. This technique help bring attention to the upper face area, emphasizing eyes and brows.

4. Blush + Lips
This one is suitable for people who have round face or long middle third. Adding blush fills up the space in the middle third section and creates youthful look. Make sure the blush and lip shade shares same undertone.
