Traditional diet is the new trend for weight loss

In case you don't know, I lost over 70 lbs in the past 2 years. The first year, I lost 60 lbs. And I contribute all of this to my mom-who came to help me after I had the baby. I didn't realize those asian diet secrets until I started doing research about weight loss.

Those "traditional" asian diet changed my life. Like most of people, I tried to lose weight before. In this fast information world, we only hear what we want to hear without really knowing the truth behind everything. All of those so called tips and tricks only tell you part of the stories. when combining together, they seem to work against each other. 
You probably heard about the apple cider vinegar diet, or eating protein diet. One of the thing they all try to do is boosting your metabolism. For women, your metabolism starts to slow down after 25, so even if we don’t eat that much, with no exercising, it is very easy to gain weight. But as long as we know how metabolism works, the weight loss journey will be so much easier.
So are you ready for those simple but shocking tips?
  1. Don’t overheat your house. In Asia, We don’t have central heating system. Scientists claim you can shiver yourself slim by simply turning the heating down a few degrees. Consequently, we cool and heat our dwellings for maximal comfort . A cold a day keeps doctor away.
  2. Eating Boiled egg as snacks instead of chocolate bars. In china, especially in older generations, people believe that woman who gives birth to a child should stay rest for at least a month, and eat at least 2 boiled eggs a day. Chinese diet therapy believes that eggs not only bring great nutrition to the body but also that eggs have special benefits to our health, such as the stage after labor or long term illness. Some people like to mix it with ginger sauce since it have the benefits of improving circulation in the pelvis and removal of old blood existing from the pregnancy. But the interesting thing is this year, in America, there was the epic news that you can lose 24 lbs in 2 weeks. By eating boiled eggs. 
  3. Drink water, but WHEN?  You probably hear people say it a lot “drink water” water can be a perfect booster. But it totally depends on when to drink it . It helps boosts your metabolism, suppresses your appetite, and helps you shed water weight. Getting in the recommended 8-10 glasses a day can be difficult,drink a full glass of water 3 0 mins before and after eating. 
  4. Use spice wisely. Chinese doesn't use as much spices as Americans. But when we do, we use them wisely. most times, they include garlic, celery,  ginger, and pepper. and all of this help boost metabolism. If you are hungry, instead of starving yourself, try to add cinnamon on the food. or choose healthy snacks such as dried sweet potato which are full of starch-resistant ingredient. 
​TRY THIS AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS FOR YOU.  you can't lose weight overnight because you don't gain weight overnight. But an awesome metabolism rate will help you lose weight faster than you would ever imagined. Start doing a little is better than nothing.
